Debug Query Tool

We provided a web application tool to access commonly used queries. This tool accepts parameters from the user and displays results of executed queries.

Debug query tool facilitates help desk users, testers and developers to execute pre-defined queries against production databases. This approach ensures to control and monitor security issues with the logins.

Earlier the users of this application were using common login to access production database and it was difficult to monitor and control commonly used logins. The other aspect was of security.

With this tool client was able to achieve following functionality

Ability to select and execute queries by inputting required parameters.
Ability to create alternate queries on the fly
Allowing the user to choose the database, tables/stored procedures
Ability to display sortable query results as a tabular pipeline.
Ability to execute multiple queries at a time.
Multiple query results rendered in one page
